On April 11 – 12 2022 Technical University of Kosice (project coordinator) successfully organised the first-ever MicroHUB face-to-face transnational project meeting in Kosice, Slovakia. Even though the first project meeting took place already in December 2021, due to the unstable pandemic situation it was then organized online.
Partners from Malta, Bulgaria, Greece, Ireland, Poland and Slovakia met to discuss the progress of the project. Partners from Sweden joined us online. We began discussing the activities so far completed, which were mostly related to the Result 1 – The Competence Matrix for Digital Entrepreneurship and business creative thinking for crafters.
The work on this Result began with qualitative research with stakeholders in the form of Inception meetings in January 2022. Then in February, we used a questionnaire to get more in-depth information on the skill gaps of crafters and artisans. These activities helped us to gain a holistic view of what competencies crafters and artisans need to become/become better entrepreneurs, which resulted in national reports (altogether seven, each from every partnering country). The findings in the national reports will serve as a basis for the Competence Matrix which will be delivered by the end of April 2022 by CWEP (Poland), afterwards project partners will collect feedback from stakeholders.
Apart from Result 1, we reached an agreement on our next steps regarding the preparation of the Transformative Business Model, Online tool and the Online Acceleration procedure for entrepreneurs which are all planned results of the project. Partners from Sweden and Bulgaria introduced the preliminary program of the Training planned for 2023. Discussions about dissemination activities, quality assurance, financial management and timetable followed.
Partners visited the city centre of Kosice and tasted some of the Slovakian national meals. We are looking forward to meeting again in Malta in autumn 2022.
