I'm Mark Borg, a filigree artist from Malta. I've been studying and practicing filigree since I was 13, and now I run my own small business called Filigree Art. My mission is to preserve and modernize filigree by incorporating it into sculptures, kinetic art, and wall hangings. I love pushing the boundaries of filigree and often use upcycled materials in my work. Through my creations, I strive to keep the art form alive while infusing it with contemporary design and sustainability.

Transforming my craft into an art form is my main inspiration. I find joy in the fusion of technical expertise and artistic expression. The intricate and precise nature of filigree resonates with my background as an aircraft mechanic, while its delicate aesthetic captivates me.
