 Jaki jest mój gust?

Costume design and embroidery. Stage costumes. Jewellery. Embellishing and customizing existing pieces of fashion or art. Paintings in mixtechnique.

As a costume designer and emboiderer, I explore line, form and colour in my artwork. I am passionate about different techniques and combining them, so I don’t lock myself into one form of expression. Depending on demand or my own inspiration, I make stage costumes, jewellery, embellish existing pieces of clothing or create paintings in mixtechnique.

I my most recent works, I explore the technique of soutache and combining it with different elements of nature or objects. Growing up in an artistic family full of painters, sculptors and dancers, which I compose by juxtaposing stitches, colours and shapes on fabric. Shape, movement and texture are an important part of many of my designs.

 Co jest dla mnie inspiracją?

I get my inspiration from life. Depending on what the guiding theme is at any given time, it influences my works. Sometimes it is nature, and sometimes it is the people I meet or the books I read.
